Earthworms

There was a thunderstorm last night. Walking to my car from the library this morning, I saw some of the largest earthworms I've ever seen. There was an entire troop of them. Some were about 1 foot long. They were taking over the sidewalk. I was amazed. I had to stop to watch. If only I had my camera. I should take it with me more often.
